Section 6: Navigating The Mobile App

Introduction

In this tutorial, we’ll explore how to navigate the CloudBox mobile app, specifically for cannabis businesses integrating with compliance systems such as METRC or BioTrack. The mobile app is designed for simplicity and control, giving you instant access to real-time inventory data, compliance tools, and system alerts all in one place.

Step by Step Tutorial

  1. Open the app. Along the bottom you will see four tabs plus a Link icon.
  2. Go to Home to view the dashboard with live analytics and key performance indicators. You can also see recent inventory transactions.
  3. In Quick Actions on Home select:
    • Alerts to review any inventory alerts.
    • Weight Reports to view recent reports or cycle counts.
    • Integration Comparison to see any differences between CloudBox and your ERP, METRC, or BioTrack.
  4. Tap Inventory to see all containers. From here you can edit container details, delete a container, or open the inventory report for a specific SKU. Use search or filters to find items fast.
  5. Tap Rooms to view the rooms and automations that are synced from your web portal.
  6. Tap Settings to access archived containers with past data and reports, manage compliance logins for METRC or BioTrack, and adjust app preferences.
  7. Use the Link icon to connect or disconnect your scale or RFID reader when setting up, calibrating, or performing counts.
  8. To connect compliance, go to Settings, open METRC or BioTrack Login, and enter the credentials provided by your compliance administrator.
  9. After connecting, CloudBox syncs inventory with the compliance system. Use Integration Comparison on Home to monitor for discrepancies and open Alerts to resolve any issues that appear.
  10. Refresh the Home dashboard if needed to pull the latest analytics and transactions.

Helpful Tips and Tricks

  • Save METRC or BioTrack credentials in Settings for smooth background syncing.
  • Check Integration Comparison daily to stay ready for audits.
  • Archive old containers to keep the app organized and responsive.
  • Tap the Link icon before cycle counts to confirm the scale connection.
  • Pull down on Home to refresh analytics and recent activity.
  • Use Inventory search and filters to jump to the correct SKU quickly.
